Tero Vauraste’s letter to Customers and Partners on 12 December 2019
Dear Customers and Partners!
I have taken the role of CEO at Nurminen Logistics on 6 December. I have had the chance to start working at the company already in late November. I have spent these weeks familiarizing myself with the company, its people and processes. The development work that has been launched this year will continue and we do our best to develop our service to become more efficient and better suited to your needs. We are here to serve our customers.
Our company that has been in business on three different centuries has always found its strength in its co-workers’ and functions’ adaptability to change. In the era of climate crisis the logistics sector and industrial sector face pressure to renew their way of working. We want to answer this call by providing our customers with efficient solutions that combine environmental and financial requirements as well as schedules and supply chain costs. We are the only Nordic operator to have regular blocktrain connection with China.
While getting to introduced to our offices in Finland I have had the opportunity to learn about our abilities in demanding project logistics and our services considering warehousing dangerous goods and industrial chemicals. I am impressed by the deep know-how our team is able to provide to your service. Our renewed sales department can build tailored supply chain solutions that can be scaled by your need. Our services are available for you in Finland and in the Baltics as well as in Russia and Asia, where our network is at our disposal.
The ongoing change in our organization enables our business to grow and develop as trustworthy partner in logistics and supply chain management. To make sure we are moving to the right direction I hope that any and all of you let me know if you would like to give feedback or ask questions. I am aware that we all face the turbulent situation of global trade and changing tides of megatrends in your daily work.
