Parma–Sweden direct rail route begins on 24 February
We are excited to confirm the dates of the first train on our new direct rail connection between Parma and Sweden, launching in week 9!
The service will operate on a regular weekly schedule, providing a reliable and predictable rail solution between Italy and Sweden.
First train schedule:
- ETD Parma – Frövi: 24 February
- ETD Frövi – Parma: 27 February
Weekly schedule:
• Northbound departures: Tuesdays from Parma
• Southbound departures: Fridays from Frövi (Örebro)

The route offers weekly departures – Tuesdays from Parma and Fridays from Frövi – with a fast three-day transit time.
Flexible capacity, from single pallets to full trainloads, makes this an excellent solution for a wide range of companies. It also provides an effective way to reduce Scope 3 emissions and support sustainability targets.
The route runs from Parma to Sweden and connects to Nurminen Logistics’ wholly-owned terminal outside Örebro, giving full control over the logistics chain and ensuring reliable delivery. Parma, located in Northern Italy’s key logistics hub, links the country’s industrial heartland to Central and Northern Europe and serves as a strategic gateway for northbound transport.
