Nurminen Logistics starts port operations of temperature-controlled containers in cooperation with Rauanheimo

Nurminen Logistics' new container operation service has been tailored to the specific customer's needs but will also be available to other customers in the future. The volume of container operation is 100 containers per week, and it is possible to increase the processing capacity as needed. The Reefer container operation is conducted in cooperation with Rauanheimo, which already operates as a container operator in Nurminen's Asian train service.

Expanding operations to container operations in the port will bring significant added value to customers regarding service flexibility and processing times. Rauanheimo's Regional Director, Niko Orpana, says that Rauanheimo has expanded its container handling services to several ports in recent years. The agreement with Nurminen further strengthens Rauanheimo's position as a container operator. The professional personnel and the company's ability to invest according to fast-changing needs will enable Rauanheimo's growth and ability to expand service packages in the future.
