Nurminen Logistics at Logistik & Transport – Introducing the New Parma–Sweden Connection
On November 4–5, the leading logistics event in the Nordic region, Logistik & Transport, brought together more than 4,500 industry professionals in Gothenburg to discuss the most current themes in logistics. Nurminen Logistics participated in the event for the second time as an exhibitor.
The most extensive rail services in Northern Europe
At the end of 2024, Nurminen Logistics strengthened its position in rail transport between the Nordic countries and continental Europe by acquiring the Swedish company Essinge Rail AB. As a result of the acquisition, Nurminen’s rail network expanded even further and is now among the most comprehensive in Northern Europe.
At the Gothenburg fair, representatives of Nurminen Logistics met with key industry executives to discuss cooperation and new business opportunities. The event provided a brilliant platform to showcase how rail transport offers an efficient, flexible, and environmentally friendly solution for a wide range of logistics needs.

The New Parma–Sweden connection sparked strong interest
Nurminen Logistics’ new direct and fast rail connection between Parma, Italy, and Sweden attracted a great deal of attention at the exhibition. The new route complements Nurminen’s existing service between Modena, Italy, and Sweden, offering customers even greater flexibility and choice for their logistics needs.
The service will launch in week 6 of 2026 with scheduled weekly departures and a fast three-day transit time. The route from Italy to Sweden ends at Nurminen Logistics’ own terminal in Frövi, near Örebro, ensuring a transport chain fully managed and operated by Nurminen. For customers, this means a smooth, reliable, and seamlessly integrated service.
