Container number 1 million from China via Russia to Europe in Nurminen Logistics container train

As a result, the volume of transit container traffic in the Russian rail network has now reached 1 million TEU per year, and it is a record throughout the history of Russian railways.

Car components, retail equipment, consumer goods, and other items were on board of the train. Nurminen provided its train customers with a comprehensive service: deliveries within China, use of containers, cargo stuffing, delivery with a container train from Chongqing to Helsinki, terminal services in Finland.

Nurminen launched its own Chongqing-Helsinki container train service in 2020, supported by Chinese YuXinOu (Chongqing) Logistics and Russian Railways and its subsidiaries. From then until today, 37 trains have carried cargo from Nurminen customers along this route, both in export and import directions.
